Student Accommodation >

The Glasgow School of Art offers new undergraduate and postgraduate students the opportunity to stay in one of two purpose-built halls of residence; Blythswood House, and Margaret Macdonald House. Both sites are located in the city centre in Glasgow, close to amenities and travel links, and within five minutes’ walk of the main GSA Garnethill campus. All our halls are secure and fully-furnished, making your move to study in Glasgow as stress-free and comfortable as possible.

Alongside our own accommodation we will provide a third option for housing in a NEW for session 2023/24 partnership with a private PBSA provider .  This will offer a different and exciting alternative option to GSA housing and is an excellent choice for our Postgraduate community.  This option offers a brilliant standard of housing and an array of facilities that can be accessed 24/7 by those living on this site.  The PBSA is very close to our own halls and  is a 3 minute walk to campus.

We are also able to offer GSA Halls to students who choose to study at our Altyre (Highlands Campus) in the Moray town of Forres.  Details of all of these halls can be found by following the links on these pages.

If you are interested in finding a private flat or a room, sharing with other students, use the links to the left or get in touch with our Student Support Services, who can assist with information on finding accommodation within the city. Contact welfare@gsa.ac.uk for further details.
